So was Richarlison, James Rodriguez etc.

Which DoF in world football has a 100% success rate on transfers?
Telling that the two players you suggest are reason to keep him are signings made by Silva and Ancelotti.

He's dire. That's why he's getting finished up here.

I agree to an extent that you can’t blame him when people play badly and not praise him when people play well... but there’s just no way James and Allan as an example are here if Carlo isn’t. Even Richarlison is probably the only positive thing Silva had a part in.

For me he hasn’t made one signing of his own accord which has seriously worked. Digne is a good player but has regressed from his first year. Moise Kean, Iwobi etc... his track record isn’t great.

between him and the othe dutch plonker they've wasted half a billion. We all have bad days at the office, but my god. And when they leave, they won't give us another thought.

It's tragic. Half a billion mostly wasted on utter crap. Imagine we'd handed that to Ancelotti from day one when Moshiri came in?

I remember reading an interview Koeman gave to a dutch paper after one of his splurges.'this is what it costs in England' like here was some sort of madhouse where the price didn't matter. The absolute bellend.

Dave thinks he's gonna get sacked cos he couldn't sell Bolaise.

I kid you not.

He thinks Moshiri is gonna ignore us having the best player in world football on the pitch and sack him cos Yannick Bolaise is still around.
Best player in world football? Superb I agree but we have been starved of real class for too long. Best player in world football can't tackle or head the ball? Not slagging him but we do get carried away!

Failing to bring in a forward will cost us.

Dont get why he let Kean/Walcott go and not bring one in - even someone like Josh King for a few quid to give us another option for games like today - go two up top etc.

Trying to justify himself.

There was an ex-Dutch player who slammed Koeman for his transfer spending at Everton.

I don't think he actually deserves a new deal whenever the time comes around to giving him one.

And I do think he did well overall this summer.

However, he leaves us short in certain areas every window. It's not good enough. He takes risks which we don't need to take.

The issue is, however, starting again under a new DoF. Is it worth it?

I don't know. I think it might be better the devil you know but, through the whole time with Brands, it's less the players we have brought in than the ones we haven't.

It'll cost us again this season imo.

I am baffled by the lack of right wing/striker cover to be honest. Letting Walcott and Kean go seemed like a risk we didnt need to take both clearly pushed for it but we should have brought in back up. We need a right back too but that can wait at least.

The answer is to scrap the position of DoF.

It's been a disaster.

If Moshiri is a businessman and he creates a post in any other business he owns and it turns out to be an expensive mistake, presumably he'd pull the plug on it and think again?

Why shoud it be any different for football?

So what would you do Dave? Bear in mind Ancelotti doesn’t generally do transfer negotiations
