Excellent result, a different type of game to the previous two, but we clearly had a plan, and the discipline and workrate was top class, much better all round really. City are a more talented side now, so the team deserve credit for keeping there shape and plugging the gaps. I would have liked to have seen more composure in the second half, but the red card came at a bad time really.

Fellaini was a cut above in the first half, Howard had one of the best games he'll ever have, Distin was excellent throughout and Bilyaletdinov and Saha did surprisingly well when they came on. Got us through a tough period in the game. That was a good shift, keep it up!

WORD .

I have never called his Dustbin mate, but as with far too many players, I got him completely wrong.

I have the shittest football opinion on here clearly, worse than Tubo it has to be said.

As opposed to me, I NEVER get players wrong on here.

I thought Kroldrup and Van Der Meyde would be ace.

I also thought that Jags didn't look like he was going to be a great purchase in his first match with us (RSL of MLS preseason).

Oh, and I thought AJ could be something special.

Like I said, I never get 'em wrong.

I'm too hesitant to call for things to be changed.

I got Yakubu wrong.

I got the board of Everton wrong.

I got Kirkby wrong.

I got Vaughan wrong.

Which makes it funny when I'm telling other people that they're talking [Poor language removed] tonight.
