Klaassen for Davies made sense. I think Ronko got too excited about shoehorning Sigurdsson into the lineup. Never should have taken Ash off. Otherwise a tactically strong game made possible by DCL's hold up play.

I don't like bringing on two subs at the same time.

It means you have two players trying to get acclimatised to the pace of the game.

...the top sides would pick off a 10 men City side who were totally committed to attack. That has to be our aspiration. I think it was positive to go with a back four but we needed to break in numbers and with tempo to exploit City's situation. Until we create against the top sides we won't challenge the top four.

I disagree. You need to set up for each game depending on what they have, not just whether they're a top side or not. Koeman knew we could be slaughtered if we took it to them even when they had ten men tonight, we know what they can do going forward. Imagine we went at them tonight and lost by some goals, that would be catastrophic going into the run we've got coming up. Instead, we come out with our heads held high ready to go again.

Match days are always fraught for me. I have one or two members on ignore for the duration of a game because their unrelenting negativity annoys me when I just want to concentrate on supporting my team. And then I 'dis ignore' them after the game finishes because ...well , I enjoy their spleen venting...they can be fun to listen to.

No chance mate. We were gifted that Walker sending off at 1-0 and that should have settled us down to go and handsomely win that.

Davies has been shocking this season. One of the midfield spots is up for grabs, but I'm convinced that Rooney will eventually drop back. Could understand RKs subs, but give city credit, they upped their game and they have great attacking players.RKs idea was to get Klaassen into the box at pace but the player was occupied too much defending.DCL our man of the match, Rooney again a great display of intelligent football.

How has he been 'shocking'? He was very good vs Stoke. Also why bring Klassen on for pace when you have Lookman who would of offered width which we we're lacking.

TBH if you had said 1-1 before the games started you would have took it the players they have DCL was the best player on the pitch tonight!

A draw there is a good result. First half his tactic of man marking Silva worked perfectly and DCL provided a great outlet on the counter lovely assist for the goal and overall a cracking performance from the lad.

Any supposed Blue spewing about a draw at City who've only ever lost one PL game at home under Pep - to last seasons champions - is a complete melon.
