Doesn't matter if the game plan is to SLOW the GAME DOWN and settle behind the ball.

City bossed that second half.... 10 MAN Man City.

This follows on from last season away from home: no killer instinct. A flaccid force led by a cautious boss.
Not a fair point they have so many options - 1-1 last year was a fluke - this year we grafted for that point!

Gana Davies Klaasen could work. Honestly wouldn't want Barry in there chasing William and Pedro

Davies has been shocking this season. One of the midfield spots is up for grabs, but I'm convinced that Rooney will eventually drop back. Could understand RKs subs, but give city credit, they upped their game and they have great attacking players.RKs idea was to get Klaassen into the box at pace but the player was occupied too much defending.DCL our man of the match, Rooney again a great display of intelligent football.

Match days are always fraught for me. I have one or two members on ignore for the duration of a game because their unrelenting negativity annoys me when I just want to concentrate on supporting my team. And then I 'dis ignore' them after the game finishes because ...well , I enjoy their spleen venting...they can be fun to listen to.

No need
Not once did I say beat them up did I? I said give it a go not park the bus. So the cost of players scares you? Good thing you aren't a player, you'd be afraid to step out of the locker room against those big bad expensive signings...

LOLZ ..You now claiming to be a player is even more laughable than your previous comments ......SHOO you total loser !

City showed in their first match that they probably have the most skilful set of attacking ballplayers in the PL. Tjey were always going to give us a hard time at home , they had what 63% possession in the first half so not sure why all the fume about our second half performance, this is a talented top four team who cost a fortune to put together. Not many will take a point off them at their place.

I think City has the best attack in the league. We held them to one goal only. If that was at United, or Wembley, and arguably the Emirates they don't score and we walk away with a win.

Rooney just now: "we had a plan given to us to get men behind the ball and frustrate City"

Great. Just 'kin great.

Logging off here now because there's some things I'd like to say about the mentality of this manager and I'd best not.

Disgusted. Utterly disgusted.

I suppose that City have done Chelsea a favour getting Snides sent off, funny how it can work out, cheating barstewards.....

Sorry, am I supposed to be ecstatic about a point against a team we had there for the taking with a goal lead and a man advantage?

'Sake.
Their team is full of players who are at least supposed to be the finished article. Even with 10 men, you'd fancy 10 world class players over 11 players consisting of a load of youngsters and a few quality players thrown in. I was disappointed with us against a man less too, but I can understand City have talent all over the field, on the bench and overflowing even into the injury room. I won't cry with a point here, even though it feels more like a defeat at the moment.
