- Key injuries before game? CHECK
- Poor choices in starting XI? CHECK
- Early lead, giving false sense of hope? CHECK
- Immediate response from City? CHECK
- Subbing at completely the wrong time (really, Geri should be playing the full 90)? CHECK
- Goal that should have been disallowed (Sterling's ball over the back line)? CHECK
- SECOND goal that should have been disallowed (Aguero offside)? CHECK
- Added time being cut into by De Bruyne's injury (should have been at LEAST 98:30)? CHECK
- Everton being a big [Poor language removed] disappointment once again? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK

Everton [Poor language removed] that.
Some of those are a matter of opinion and at least two are just dead wrong.

Well, probably poorly phrased. Our heads went, basically. But also, City were all over us and could smell blood - and they had the two quality players to pull it off...
that's the thing, i'm not a footballing expert and i could have told you city would be all over us last night, especially looking for a goal. I mean the big give away was e technically played this game 2 weeks ago and the same thing happened! lol

But we didn't compensate for this, we didn't do anything to counter this, almost literally when we took pace off and brought kone on.

I agree, Lennon would have been the better sub. However, if the ref had done his job, they don't get that second like that and our heads don't drop.

For me Martinez lost the game when he bought on Kone. That sub just baffled me. He doesn't defend, he doesn't break with pace, he can't pass and he's only ok (being polite) at holding the ball up so what purpose was he going to serve? City were attacking in numbers, surely Lennon with his pace and his work-rate was the better option.

Well its one think seeing it happen, its another to actually stop world class footballing champions from playing the game that won them those titles.

They brought kev de bruyne on, he is absolute gravy.

It was the wrong decision, just like the late penalty claim for city in the league game, the penalty shout for city in the first game and the offside goal in that same game....

Right, okay.

1. Penalty claim for City in the league - we all said it was a pen. Two weeks previous, we'd been given a horrible decision against us vs. Stoke. Karma, you could say. Also, Howard was playing superbly that night. A penalty is a penalty - it's not automatically a goal is it... as the commentator also pointed out, it didn't cost City a potential cup final

2. Offside by Rom. If you're using that logic, then Sterling was in exactly the same place last night for their opener.

Exactly, it happens. Get over it.

We lost because we were not the best team, mainly because they are better players.

Bolton fans still cry about the ball over the line thing in 97, that sent them down apparently.

I'm over it, it does happen, it's football.

However, it's a huge turning point that's cost us for the second time against a 'sky six' team in the space of 11 days...

City were always going to be the better team, but they needed a lot of help from the officials to get them over the line in the end...

I dont think it mattered, they would have found a way to score anyway, and with us taking our only pace forward off, i saw no way we scores again.

You're chatting absolute rubbish mate. Sorry, but you obviously suffer from tunnel vision.
