It's a simple idea but they are scared that a fair league will see the big clubs drop down the league.

You've got it. But i reckon there's an investigative journalist or two out there looking to blow the lid on FA corruption just as happened with FIFA. The FA have dragged their feet one season after another over technology, and every season longer some bent scumbags behind the scenes are pocketing money. Hopefully it's only a matter of time now before the dam breaks.....

Barry is an enigma: a good footballing brain, but perhaps a bit off the pace now, and hence always a hair's breadth from a card or two. We need his mentality but at the same time he's a liability.
Mate I'm sorry but I couldn't disagree more. I'd go as far to say he's been our most consistent performer this season.

We are so unlucky.have been all season.everything has gone against us.if lukaku could be half arsed tonight we still would of overcome the terrible match changing goal to tonight.

True, but he's up front alone most games. Been off the boil for a little while under the radar now has our Lu

Well I think since the knock in the last leg mainly, he seems to have suffered. Also, Kone being up there does help him - that's a fact. It's why I believe it was the right decision from Martinez.

There really isn't... they like the big boys too much... the big boys + more money for papers. Simple. Even if a journo would go for it, it'd be shot down by an editor.

The case of any corruption in the FA/reffing would be massive, but why risk it all when they have a steady stream of income from making up another excuse for the RS getting a dodgy pen, or Terry not being given offside. Just blame it on the defenders and get the masses and media-following sheep to go into hysterics.

Sensible, measured post.

Think Osman played well in the first half, but tired quickly. Though RM's subs were also correct - as he wanted to get Rom in the game more and usually Kone offers that hold up play - in fact he did.

Second goal threw us and we never recovered - then a bit of top class play from two top class players did for us.

Taking off Del and putting on Kone DOSE not help Rom..... *Jesus Christ*.

Just to remind everyone that we are going to win the FA cup this year. So forget this competition that we usually go out of without any of us noticing.
Funes Mori was immense. Robles has to get a chance soon. Barkley won't leave and is starting to grow into his reputation. Del will be a world beater next season.
Don't really care who the manager is.

Martinez has to put Robles in. That's the main thing that's getting on my nerves with him.

If our poor league form continues I solely believe it will be down to that.

Tonight, in a semi-final at the Etihad, it's a one off. If we lost tonight, no matter what he did, Martinez was always gonna be attacked by the ones dead set on getting him out.

If he had gone all out attack, he'd have been called naive for thinking we could do that.

He chose to try and soak up pressure and play them on the counter - but he was too defensive and should have known it would never work (even though it would have, if not for the officials).
