Notwithstanding Stones, in all honesty we managed the game well up until the second goal, for once this season I'm not too disappointed with the performance.

Nevertheless, you have to question the credentials of his backroom staff. We're a major premier league club but they have next to no experience with a top club in a top league system. The buck stops at Martinez.
We got a manager from a team that had just been relegated and he brought his coaches from the same club who coached and then watched players concede goals for fun. Fast forward to Everton........

Was the ref biased when he didn't give Navas a stonewall pen in the first leg or award a free kick when an Everton player went through the back of Aguero which then lead directly to your goal? Ref was appalling tonight, but not in City's favour.
As for the comment about City not caring for the League Cup, it is demonstrably wrong. Pellegrini has always played a strong team and the reactions of the team at the end showed how much they care about it. Speaking as a fan I am desperate for any chance of silverware we can get. I spent too long watching us win [Poor language removed] all to not care.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Yes totally agree mate, congratulations on still managing to win that game despite a referee giving everton absolutely everything.

Or in actual reality, Aguero the player won the ball and clipped Aguero as it was from the back, sorry but only quegs think that is anything but a great tackle, Sterling was a yard out with the ball when you scored, your players swan-dived and where an embarrassment, Navas and your old villa boy being comedy examples.

Enjoy whatever trophies your tainted money buys you mate, a semi tonight with half your stadium empty tells all you need to know about your tainted club

Barkley had a good game. But why was he off for the last 5 minutes of our biggest match in the club's recent history. ......... yes a nose bleed. Martinez too soft. Ferguson and keane were winners. Honestly would keane be off for 5 mins with a nose bleed. We have no spine. Martinez to blame.

I have loved Everton for 10 years, an entire decade, for being only 23 thats almost half my life. For that decade I have never been so disappointed, this was our one real chance to prove we were something, to beat man city at home and wipe the floor with the kopite scum in god damn Wembley. Absolutely heart broken, not even putting the blame on RM, no one showed up to play past the typical first 20 minutes. Pathetic display all around, no one deserved to even be an evertonian today. These are the days I lose hope and fear that ill never get to cherish any memories and tell my kids of the glories before.
If you think things are bad now, I had to grow up through the 90's when we were proper [Poor language removed] and had sponsors like DANKA on our shirts and our one great hope was Danny Cadamarteri!

Its that feeling you get when you know deep down what is going to happen, but a little fire in your heart burns, maybe this is our time.
So sorry for all the blues that were there.

Yes they would both have come off because the rules now state you have to come off

Because its the law of the game mate, not allowed to stay on the pitch if blood is flowing still, should have stinted the nose way faster though but thats the medical teams fault

Who is he trying to kid? It is an insult to those fans who gave their all backing the team tonight to spout such rubbish. His interviews are embarrassment, don't watch them when we win, lose or draw!
