First draw I have been happy with really. I honestly thought we would get beat. As others have said Gibson was excellent but I thought all played well, Pienaars best game in about two months. Baines is a phenomenon. Defence was solid today too. With Jelavic we need to give him chances that is all. Felli very impressive again.

I am actually feeling a lot more positive about us now. Look at it this way- we ar having our bad spell, have won one in nine, yet we are only three points off third.

Seriously. Surely it would be a better option to shoehorn Osman in at RM so we could drop Naismith for Hitzelsperger in the centre?

I know it's a bit unfair on Osman making him play out of position but at least he has good feet, Naismith has none of the right attributes to be a wide midfielder.

what was most pleasing was the fact we didn't buckle in the 2nd half like we've shown so far in the season as soon as the opposition got on top. with all their attacking prowess they didn't carve out one real chance in the whole match and i thought we defended superbly. silly from felli for the pen, but opposition do it to him every time we have a set piece and he's never won a pen .

I'd agree mate, their dangerous players seemed very subdued by our high tempo pressure.

Osman plays very well today in the middle. Rarely lose the ball and protect the ball well. I do not have much faith in Hitzlsperger. Hopefully Mirallas ia back next week.
