I wouldnt be surprised or balme him, he makes the most logical sense for Villa money is going to be very tight there over the next while and Moyes can work within a budget. Begs the question of why Moyes would want to go, but i could understand if he is frutrated with us.

Ive always maintained we will be relegated within three seasons if Moyes leaves and i still do.

Awful news if true. Wouldn't blame him though, I think he's got the patience of 10 saints for having to deal with the set of muppets we call our board. Everything I've heard suggests Moyes is the hardest working manager in the league, and IMO we will really struggle to do better.

One rumour I've heard is (gulp) Steve McClaren - due to his availability, connections with Steve Round etc

The fans wouldn't have it, full stop. You wouldn't find one Evertonian happy with that appointment. No chance.

its in the Daily fail that he is off to replace Houllier.

I'm worried there might be something in it - his body language has been very negative and the promise of a club with cash would probably be attractive.

Mike Walker is presumably free at the mo or perhaps we can tempt Walter out of retirement?

VILLA DO NOT HAVE CASH.

How many times? FFS.

THEY'RE SKINT!!!!!!

I know, I know. But last time I checked we don't appoint staff at Goodison either...just sayin.

I don't know who I'd want who is available (lord knows we don't have the cash to poach someone IF Moyes is off). I used to like Curbishley but he's been out of work for ages now, so not him. Could "Stay on Your Feet" Ray Wilkins take on being a Manager rather than assistant?

No to Allardyce, no to O'Neill (both play long ball).

So who's left? Don't think we could pull in a Dick Advocaat etc...

AFTER SELLING ABOUT 4 PLAYERS FFS.

THEY ARE SKINT.

Well, only James Milner actually - they bought Makoun for £6m too. They basically sold £30m worth and brought in £30m worth, so it's break even. They're not skint, but certainly not minted, and their ability to fund the odd deal where they need to is a lot higher than ours (see our dreadful attempts to bolster the squad in January for details).

Anyways, calm down? oO
