If we did somehow get lukuka I wouldn't mind us being A stepping stone as long as we got into the champions league. We would make a profit on him and get to be known in Europe. The only way the club can be know to others as a big club is if kenwright lowered the asking price as the club is not worth his evaluation. Unless we get champions league football where we will become more know and more buisness men take interest then we won't get brought

I think its more a case of the media pushing, essentially, a young kid into saying something worth printing. We all know he's here for one year, we all know he wants to impress his full time boss to get time on the paddock with the team he actually signed for, and we all know that our ambition is not reflected in our finances/financiers...

He isn't staying, we've bought him for a year, look at it like that.

There will be a queue of clubs looking at him next summer if Chelsea don't fancy him (which they will, and should.)
