Hey lads, I'm doing a whip round from Evertonians to raise money for a transfer bid for Lukaku next summer.

PM me your bank details and how much you'd like to donate to this most worthy cause.

There is a slight of hope of him staying longer, in Roberto's post match interview, he said it's important he feels at home here.
If he is very happy here, getting a good run of games being the 'star man', then at the end of the season, we're in Europe, he might just stay.

That's all very well and good mate but he'll cost real money. We had to sell our best midfielder just to buy McCarthy. Are we gonna sell our entire team plus Goodison Park to afford 25m Lukaku? As that's what he'd cost.

No chance. Just enjoy him this season, as this is as good as it gets.

Lukaku makes me turgid.

His bossness trumps all other bossness. Ever.

Did you see him out there in the first half, like some dreadlocked deity of finishing? Just easy as pie, that. Remember how we were moaning this summer about how they would **** up the window again, and how Baines would be gone, and now look at Lukaku and Barkley completely bossing it up front.

What second half? I don't remember any second half. Addled here, but turgid.

Really.

Everyone being very careful about what they say in the media and rightly so. His partnership with Barkley has all the signs of being the making of something a bit special. If we can't afford him because he's shown everyone how ace he is then we need as close as we can afford as a replacement. Benteke if he doesn't have a stellar season at Villa maybe? Sod it just gonna enjoy him while we can and worry much, much later.

This, mate.

He's already said Chelsea is his future, these were his exact words. There is literally more chance of us winning the Champions League this season than us signing him permanently. If Chelsea decided to sell most of Europe would be after him, does anyone really believe he would choose us over Champions League teams all over Europe? That's if we had the 30m it would take to actually buy him btw. This lad is obviously going to be huge in more ways than one, let's just enjoy him while it lasts. Just think, in a few season's time we can say we had an attacking quartet of Lukaku, Barkley and Deulofeu, potentially 3 of the best players in Europe one day. Makes you think if we had just a bit ambition they might still be Everton players when that happens

Wouldn't start him at right back though, liability there like.

What a full home debut. One of the most impressive first half performances I've seen since I've been going the game and he was the focal point of that. Absolute quality.
