What I'm saying, we have been linked with Bacca who wouldn't cost 20m and would do the same job as Lukaku. He wouldn't go to a big club after us whereas lukaku WILL.

But then, I'd rather get two 10m players. But obviously this will not happen so get Bacca.

I know the worst thing about him going to another club is the fact that we wouldn't get money for him because that's not how transfers work.

If we have 20m to spend on two striker positions I'd rather spend all 20 on one quality stirker and then get a loan/promote one of our kids for the second spot rather than spend 10m on two decent strikers.

Over the past few years our problems haven't been so much in creating chances, its finishing them off when we get them and thats what you pay the premium for - the extra conversion rate. Its especially important since we tend to play 4231 which is much harder on a striker than being in a 442 where you can share the duties.

It does mean gambling on the fitness/quality of that one person - they could turn out to be an Andy Caroll or a Soldado. Which is why I'd really like us to get Lukaku as we know he fits the team, style of play and whilst he stilll needs to develop he still score goals even when he is playing "badly".

I've have Bacca over Lukaku to be honest. Would you get longer out of Lukaku? Debatable
