I can't believe Evertonians are slating the lad, he gets crap service, if it's played in where he can have a chance on goal he is a clinical finisher, if you could sign him for 20m you'd have got yourself a bargin.

I doubt he would be first choice for any of the top clubs if he does end up playing champions league next season, He's a good player and i'm sure he will end up first choice for one of the top teams but not next year. players like Darren Bent have similar goal scoring ratio to what you quoted when he played for Charlton and also at Sunderland in his first two seasons and they are not good enough either. I say all this because i'm trying to convince myself we have a good chance of signing him not slagging him off like I think he'd be brilliant for Everton.

I fully accept that about him being a lethal finisher if it is put on a plate for him like Mirallas, at last, did for him today.
But if that's all we expect from our main striker then we should have kept Jelavic.
I'm sorry, Lukaku is dreadful in every other aspect of leading the line.
He was awful today apart from scoring the goal.....and he even came close to fecking that attack up a few seconds before he scored.

He is worth around 20 million because of his stats and age he must be on are 30 goals in the PL IN 2 seasons and 60 games as sub n starter, not the finished article but his age needs to remembered before his stature his is still so young so at worse his signing should be seen as a business investment.

Totally agree. Tailor made for them. But would Chelsea sell him to Arsenal? Maybe if the price is right in which case we'd be priced out. Can't see him being here next season unfortunately.
