He's only young and he's focussed on trying to be one of the best players in the world. You can't really knock his dedication. Didn't he say a couple of months back that Everton would need to finish in the top 4 for him to consider staying? I'm actually surprised that he hasn't complained more about the midfield not creating enough chances for him.

Its his choice. Were not playing Champions League and don't have loads of money to put a sustained push for the Champions League so its apparent what level were at for most players.

Never known this much hype regarding someone who has only scored 9 goals by February, and who has only scored 1 goal since November 30th.
Very surprised none of the media are calling him out on getting too big for his boots, but then again, this is a nice story for them that perpetuates the image of Everton as insignificant also-rans that are not worth mentioning that they like to stick to.
