Lukaku V Kane and Barkley V Alli

Disagree. When has Kane ever ran from the half way line showing pace and power like Lukaku's last week? When has Kane scored a goal like the one at City away this season.

I think they are both at a very similar level, although Lukaku's scoring record is superior this season in my opinion as he hasn't had any penalties boosting his goal tally. Kane has scored 4 penalties.

Kane wouldn't score as many in our team either.

Lukaku's goal record is superior this season? You do realise Kane missed two months of the season yet is STILL the leading PL goal scorer and has outscored every single other player since he broke through into the Spurs team three seasons ago. Frankly, if Kane hasn't missed two months of the season, he'd have run away with the golden boot already and it wouldn't even be close.

And scoring penalties isn't something to be thrown at Kane, he's an excellent penalty taker which makes even more of a complete striker...

Dunno why this has been made a thing and that people are arsed about it. Both are class strikers and will get even better and I enjoy watching them both.

Same for Barkley and Alli. They are different types of players so comparing them doesn't quite add up. Both of them are also class and will be two of best midfielders around pretty soon.

I disagree. Kane still contributes when not scoring. Rom is practically invisible. Kane would score less for Sunderland but would be an outlet for others and hold it up

Kane can play the lone striker role really well because of his work rate, as you say, when he's not scoring he's still contributing because of that work rate, something Rom needs to improve on.

Lukaku was not serviced well enough, true. But Kane made his own luck for his first. He can do that and I think he is a way more flexible forward than Lukaku. Alli is better going forward than Barkley. I'm a big admirer of Barkley but if I was asked who I'd want in my team I'd say Alli. Just.

Kane scores all types of goals. Lukaku has never even scored 20 league goals in a season, Kane is 1 goal away from doing it for three successive seasons. I know we are on GOT but Kane is the better striker, it's quite obvious.

Lukaku is matching Kane for goals while being served mostly by pretty unimpressive footballers, while Kane plays alongside Alli and Eriksen ffs.

Lennon and Valencia have got games for us this season. It's a minor miracle Lukaku will get 25 this season. I don't think Kane would break 20 goals for us. Half Lukaku's goals involve effectively assisting himself by carrying the ball 20-40 yards before scoring. Something Kane absolutely cannot do.

Kane missed a grand total of 5 PL games while injured, but 2 months sounds a lot better.

Yes it is. He's scored 4 unopposed shots (no defenders) from 12 yards out to get to the tally he has, whereas Lukaku has worked for every goal he has scored this season.
