Lukaku V Kane and Barkley V Alli

Dele Alli is an absolute gobshite, plays as a second striker, has Eriksen assisting him and Dembele and Wanyama doing his midfield work. Put Barkley in the Spurs team and see how good he would look!

Kane and Lukaku tight, read a stat somewhere that 30% of Kane's goals were penalties - both very good strikers though

Barkley is leagues ahead of Alli in every department except heading and runs into the box. Alli is hugely overrated and needs to up his game massively to fulfil the potential. Even Spurs fans aren't too bothered about him.

my mates worship him

20 years old, 23 games, 12 goals. Thats very impressive.

Alli is not the one needing to up his game massively, he's scoring at a rate that no other english midfielder in years has managed (whilst his age). Gerrard, Lampard etc... none of them were doing what Ali was doing at the age of 19-20.

All the talk was about if he could have a good follow up season after a very good debut season, some people myself included wondered if he would do a Barkley and struggle for a while... but he hasn't, he's got better and is contributing more than ever.

Its Barkley who needs to up his game, and he has... but he needs to start putting the ball in the back of the net more. He's got the talent to do it but for whatever reason doesn't seem to get enough good chances.

Alli is a brilliant player mate. Love Barkley, and theyre v different but Alli is a great player.

In the fullness of time I feel confident Lukaku will achieve much more than Kane, and rightly so because he is a much better player.

Lukaku's name strikes fear to any CB in the world. He's a force. Kane is a great striker, but not nearly as good as our Rom. Kane has enjoyed playing on a very good Spurs team, while Lukaku has had to make his own goals out of nothing for much of Martinez's reign, and even some of Koeman's.

Kane's Premier League record is 21 in 34, 25 in 38 and 17 in 21 so far this season.

You'd have to think that Lukaku is as good as an Henry or a Shearer to say he's comfortably better.

Wow, I did not realize Kane's scoring record was that good. Does he take penalties?

I was going to say Lukaku and Alli but I'm not sure now. I don't think Lukaku gets enough credit for his assists and for the last couple of seasons, he's basically done it with poor midfield support, so I think I'll stick with Lukaku.

All 4 are great players.

Simple, he needs to get in the box more. The amount of times the ball falls loose in the box or flashes passed the goal with nobody there. He could get an extra 4 goals minimum with just being at the right place at the right time.

Lukaku and Barkley. Kane is a good striker but he has a quality supply line and takes pens. Lukaku bangs in loads of goals even when playing for turgid teams not taking pens. He's also capable of scoring from nothing like the goal v Chelsea. If the team isn't playing well (like England) then Kane doesn't score.

It's a similar argument for Alli. He looks great at home for Spurs but again complete dross for England. He's got a better eye for goal than Barkley but if Barkley can add that to his game there's nothing that Alli had over him in my opinion.

I would take Kane over Lukaku right now because I think he has a bit more to his game. Can create goals by himself, great with his back to goal. Lukaku has improved on this aspect though. Kane is also good at scoring all type of goals. In the box or out the area and his technique is brilliant.

Alli is playing better than Lukaku but think he is slightly overrated. Barkley I think in long term can develop into better player because more to his game. I don't think Alii is a game-changer while I think Barkley is. If Spurs are playing bad, Alli don't look good and I have seen a lot of games like City and Stoke where he scored but did not actually do much apart from that. But is that what makes him a great player? Being right place at right time and his goalscoring statistics for a 20 year old is brilliant.

Like others have alluded to, I think it would be very interesting to see how Lukaku & Barkley would do in Spurs' team, and how Kane & Alli would do in ours.
