Barry and Jagielka were outstanding as was Hibbert.

Barkley did very well until he faded (don't blame him), Baines was solid and Besic was sound (very unfairly booked).

Unfortunately I thought McGeady was dreadful and Eto'o didn't have a great game.

Good point that leaves us in a comfy position and one I'd have took beforehand. McCarthy man of the match.

World Class for those 15 seconds...

Thought it was not to bad a game.
They always say win your home games and draw your away games and you can't go far wrong. Half way and top of the group will do and just how good did our shirt look without Chang on the front!

Origi has attributes which reminds me of Thierry Henry ignore him if it makes you feel better about Lukaku but this lad is for real. He is no further away from the finished article as Lukaku is

I'd happily take a senior goals bet with you over the lifetime of both players we can settle up in about 10-15 years time. Since Lukaku already has a 59 goal lead I would feel fairly good about that bet.

Origi has attributes which reminds me of Thierry Henry ignore him if it makes you feel better is, that is clear in his control, the ability to work the defenders out across the backline, and his strength for 19 is awesome.

He is going to be a big player, already very good.

...but no big clubs were interested in him.

Strange that.
