Origi might have a lot of potential, but didn't seem anything special tonight. Weird how much is being made of his performance by certain media outlets.

yeah just read it in the report - bloody watched nothing for a year and a half and missed the clearest chance

When Everton were really crap, and I mean crap. I went away to Ipswich as I'm sure you know is a bit of a hike for an away day and back in the day we really didn't win many aways. Well we only bloody won didn't we 2-0 with Stuart Barlow scoring both goals. Missed them both as I was in the bog taking a piss. Still winds me up to this day as I've never missed a goal before or since. Especially the rare sight of Barlow bagging a brace!! ( even though I have seen them since and one looks more like an oggy )

Itv4 still giving a 3 minute highlight of Origi against us as if he's the 2nd coming. All I saw was a young kid with pace with potential but oh no, he's an absolute worldy cos he will be playing for the [Poor language removed] soon.

Apart from being rapid, skilful, excellent ball control and physically powerful for a 19 year old ?

The lad is going to be class. Lille tried to keep him under wraps but belgium knew he could do a job in the world cup and he did.

I'm gutted that lot got him. He's good enough to play for them now.

The next Ryan Babbel or Djibril Cisse...

So your saying he's the 2nd coming then? Didn't say he was [Poor language removed] did I? Said he was a kid with potential and nothing more. And of course he would get in their side now, christ I would get in their side now as they are that wank up top.

All of that may turn out to be true but tonight he wasn't that impressive.

Plus his name feels incomplete - Origimi, Origami, Originge?

Just seems wrong.

If I was a young kid with potential like Origi the last club I would be looking to sign for would be that shower across the park. One game in he will be the saviour, 5 games in he's a waste of space, 1 season in he's worth 150m If they only got 65m for Suarez, 18 months in "we done well to get 13.8m from Marseille for him as that's a profit of 2.8m but x that by games, minutes, assists, chances created and corners taken shows we've made a profit of 19.7m"
