Johnson's attitude to these protests:

Tbh the lad shouldnt be hammered when he's a victim of media brainwashing.

Not one media outlet, politician or high profile journo/celeb has asked why the death of a bloke at the hands of a cop in a country renowned for police brutality/racist problems gives people the green light to huddle together in their thousands and smash stuff up / cause bother in this one.

People can show support in other ways - funny how when terror attacks happen people change their profile pictures on FB or hold vigils - yet this is seen as fair grounds to cause trouble in the middle of a kin global pandemic.

All those who have sacrificed seeing family, friends, have lost jobs or businesses etc. over these last 3 months were spat in the face these past few days same as with what Cummings did imo and no one has the guts in the media or government to call it out.

Its not a race issue - plenty of black and BAME folk on twitter against what has gone on - its a blokes death in another country being politicised at the wrong time.

*Murder not death.

The majority of those protesters will be going about it the right way, the problem for that majority is that there will always be a minority of bellends who just turn up to protests (no matter what the protest is in aid of) as they see it is an excuse for a kick - off, sadly it's that minority that make the all the news.
Aye. A tiny scuffle or something, and the press are all over it making it look like chaos. Has been the case for decades now. https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20140515-when-two-tribes-went-to-war

Correct - in another country.

Shame these protests dont go on in this country when people are starving to death from being sanctioned by Universal Credit or when teenagers are stabbing one another to death every week in the capital.

But no one is angry and fired up about that as media and talking heads are not stirring up division in the media and on Twitter.

More people are arsed in this country about school shootings in America than knife crime over here - we are obsessed with US Culture.

It’s opportunist thuggery, the ability to hide among others and get away with it.

Basically, shithouses

Racism is not just an American thing. Does it matter where things are happening anyway?

These protests are not just about Floyd. The murder of Floyd is the trigger that has kicked things off (probably combined with a lot of what else has been going on recently).

Do you watch the news?

People have been protesting about all kinds over the years.

You’re going on like this is the first even instance of protest to hit the country.

Mate you're losing the plot here. That's utter bollocks. There have been many marches/protests in recent years over a multitude of social issues.

It's perfectly possible to care about multiple issues at a time. And who the chuff is talking about US school shootings?

Well in the midst of a pandemic that has claimed 40,000 lives in this country - yes.

Why are people not protesting at the countless lives lost in middle east conflicts? In Africa?

Or is it because its out of sight out of mind as the media dont want to know?

Its complete brainwashing and people fall for it all the time. You are basically told what you need to be angry about and if you dont get angry about it or question it then you are bad.

When you have Anthony Joshua who has white people who travel around the country/world supporting him tell people to stop buying in their shops maybe question is the elite run media really asking for peace or is it pushing for further division?

I or most people couldnt give a toss what colour you are - if you are angry at the elite then make a stand - but dont turn it into anti British white vs black BS as thats when you lose alot of support and become just as bad as those you seemingly are fighting against.
