Funny how it suddenly cropped up the last few days mate.

If this murder happened in the UK and we had the same extent of ingrained racial issues the US has - I would be in full support of a peaceful protest (after this virus malarkey is hopefully over) but the nature in how the fringe of idiots have turned it sour and dissolved its intended meaning have pushed me away from it.

Winning the hearts and minds of a nation isnt burning flags, rioting, attacking innocent people/animals, having celebrities tell people not to shop in white peoples businesses & defacing a Churchill memorial around the time we remember the brave soliders of the war.

Sadly those from the far left in the media have helped fan the flames for this in the same way those in the far right media pushed lies for Brexit & hijacked the rotherham grooming scandal for their own racist agenda.

The real enemy to this country is the far left & far right - two institutions who play off the majority of working class of all colour for their own aims whilst the elite continue to exploit and profit off it.

It hasn’t just suddenly cropped up in the last few days, that’s my point.

People have been protesting for decades. The more they get ignored, the angrier and louder they get.

They're probably thinking protester violence isn't good, neither is police violence, people should be social distancing, but standing up for all of our rights, for a more equal and better society is an admirable thing.

Police violence in the USA is totally different in the UK to The USA , most people of any colour skin have very little chance of being killed by the police here unless you have a weapon and are endangering other people's lives in the UK.

Standing up for there rights or equality but the events of the last few days havnt furthered there cause in anyway and have infact taken the spotlight away from the cause they are supposed to be supporting.
In the current emergency they are just plain daft.

I think his behaviour, and his refusal to just accept he was wrong has had a very big impact actually. I'm really surprised they played it the way they did.

I look at us now, and we are in a bad place. We've had conga lines, street parties, punch up on beaches, mass protests, football starts next week etc. How has it been allowed to get to this point, with the death rate as it is? Do we honestly think, we are not going to see football fans congregating at grounds?

not at all to both questions and I don't think I suggested it was , if I did then I’ve completely miscommunicated my opinion . I was talking about the complete tool burning the cenotaph union flag .

I think we need to go deeper too. Start asking what would motivate someone to feel that way. He doesn't look middle class. We need to go a lot deeper in trying to integrate people into society. This feels a watershed moment to me.
