Genuinely, I'm being objective here but...
What's the real difference between wanting to support a group exclusively because of their race, colour or creed and boycotting because of the same criteria?

I do wonder if it’s something that’s sentiment has been really obscured. If the message is to help develop the community around you by shopping locally, rather than at bigger stores that take the mick with employees and take money out of these areas and propagate the cycle, then it’s definitely a decent message.
I totally agree. Perhaps as you say the language may have been misguided and as such the true sentiment may have been obscured, so we have to be careful.
Yet while he may be quoting someone else or not, the issue I have is where he mentioned that people should 'abstain from spending in their shops.'
Solidarity with small businesses and your local community is far, far from a bad thing, but calling to abstain from a group due to race is where I feel pretty uneasy.

What I've never understood is the types who believe only white people are racist and never call out racism from other groups - there are alot of people of minority backgrounds in the UK / rest of the world who hold nationalist / religious extremist / unsavoury views towards other races / religions / creeds in the same manner as scum like the EDL, BNP etc.
These people need to realise you wont be kept as some "pet" if this glorious revolution happens - you'll be hated and discriminated against for being different to them just like the rest of us.
Racism has no colour - its disgusting and needs calling out regardless of what persons skin colour is on the end of it. People on social media defending the likes of Joshua are part of the problem.

This doesn't just apply to those at some protest at a particular time and place, it is also ambiguous and can mean almost whatever one wishes.
I was interested in who the op considered 'disgusting animals'.

Think it’s obvious he means the people doing the graffiti, attacking the police, throwing bottles and bikes at police horses and basically rioting not protesting! Them animals. Or are you trying to insinuate that he means blacks when referring to ‘disgusting animals?’
The thing is mate, people have explained this numerous time across these threads and you’ve either chose to ignore it, or decided you don’t care and your opinion is unquestionable in the subject.
To explain it, again: Black Lives Matter does not mean ONLY Black Loves Matter, it means that all lives can’t matter until black lives do.
The issue is that racism in the western world against POC is highly institutionalised and systemic. There are countless indicators that show this to be a fact including over policing of their communities (i.e. excessive use of stop and search), proof that police are more likely to use excessive force against POC, proof POC tend to get harsher sentences for the same crimes white people commit, shorter life expectancies, higher poverty rates, lower averages salaries etc.
This is what is meant by white privilege, and why in Europe and America, you can’t really accuse a POC of being racist towards whites.
