Outside of corner shops and green grocers are you talking about? The very way you phrased that question makes it clear they aren't in the hubs of cities

If you`re talking about the multi nationals, like Gap, Next, Marks& Spencers, John Lewis etc then yes, but it`s hardly down to race that these companies have become global payers is it ??

In the likes of Leeds, Birmingham, London, Manchester there are massive non white concerns in the likes of textiles, food supply, restaurant chains.

Just because they aren`t household names doesn`t mean they aren`t there.

I`m sure in the very near future Joshua will " clarify " those comments.

Of course it's down to race that those companies have become global players.

I know full well there are successful non white businesses, I never denied that. It's still stacked against non white people to make successful businesses, and it's okay for people to want to support them exclusively.

Here is the full speech from Joshua which might be worth watching before condemning him.

Firstly he was reading out something that was written by a friend who lives in the area. Seems clear that the point being made is that people should avoid businesses that contribute to furthering or sustaining inequality and using that money to support local communities. If you watch the video you will see he reads out "black shops" and then off his own back says that it goes for other communities too and you should be helping them.

He also condemns the violence and looting and calls out gang culture and postcode wars. But sure, just focus on one line out of context.

He shouldnt even be at the frigging protest in the beginning.

I`m sure his many sponsors, who include Under Armour, Jaguar, Lynx and Hugo Boss ( oh dear is he aware of their pedigree ) are thrilled with that ??

What an absolute bellend.

He's lucky that there's no chance of a comeback at the moment as no company would stop sponsorship of a black person with the heightened tensions.

Has it be a big risk for a sportsman to be out there in the middle of that. What if he got ill to the point that it could stop his career? Could have easily made the point from home and been a good role model for social distancing at the same time.

That obviously makes a difference, but still reading out what a friend has said regarding boycotting companies is a tad off as these same companies have helped make him a very wealthy man.

Disgraceful scenes in London yesterday.

Firstly the lack of respect for social distancing was absolutely staggering.

Secondly, those resorting to violence against the Police just make a complete mockery of what they were protesting for in the first place.

respect to those who did protest in the right way. Lock those up that didn’t.

i hope all those brave police men, women and horses are all ok.

Not sure mate same source of info so who knows?
Proper bingoed himself though
The piece I saw in the independent implied it is a woman officer when saying she is not seriously injured.

The same piece suggested that the horse had bolted after missiles and flares had been thrown. The horse didn't look under control to me

Yeah seen the clip of the horse loose and it ploughed into someone. Hopefully one the rats that were throwing stuff at it
