So a gang of 20 odd white blokes targetting solely victims from one race group wouldn't be deemed racism? Come on.

Did they target them as they were white, or because they believed white girls were easier to groom? I apologise as I did think you meant them being Muslim was part of the reason for the crime, unless you do think that?

Im happier to call a spade a spade and that any group that targets predominantly victims from another group has some sort of discriminating reason in mind.

I’m guessing since this is a topic you’re passionate about you’ve done some research you’ve read Andrew Norfolk, the times reporting and the rest ?
quick one though firstly there is obviously a disproportionate issue statistically with the racial profile of the offenders but maybe read up on the cps prosecutor’s thoughts the bloke who unlike SYL who tried to bring down the cases actually put them together and he has some really interesting thoughts on whether it’s to do with culture in Rotherham , night time economy taxis takeaways etc.. I’m not seeking to make excuses by the way because there is clearly an issue I’m just looking at the bigger picture .
For me though id also look Nationally stats will tell you 97% of all grooming victims are white but 21% of grooming gangs are all white . So that kind of damages your ‘racial motive ‘ . For someone who cares about the abandonment of the white working class you seem anxious not to consider it’s that very thing that played and plays a huge Part in the abuse of these children and allowing the abuse to continue . I’d suggest As much as anything That’s why they’re vulnerable not because of Any racial motive.
Did race play a part ? In the whole scandal then yes I think it probably did , to what extent I’m unsure . I will say this , probably anyway but absolutely if this wasn’t a lockdown weekend young girls , children would be Being groomed and abused In this city by drug suppliers in almost exactly the same way Rotherham happened . You know it and and I know it and they’ll be ‘white working class girls ‘ and the offenders won’t be Pakistani they will be scumbags though .

You can not have equality in society whilst overlooking one form of discrimination over another.
I agree with @neil999 in that there probably was stereotyping going on of white working class girls being "easy" but why is that any less racist than the stereotype that black people are more likely to be trouble makers or a Pakistani person owns a corner shop?
Any form of racial stereotyping is still racist - I just cant support people who claim to be fighting for equality but are blind to whenever the victims are not the colour they want them to be.
We are all human and a proper society should be treating all races and all incidents the same.

who said anything was coincidental ? You haven’t really answered any of the points mate . The children were victims because our society allowed them to be victims , for lots of reasons we failed to protect them and it’s a disgrace . Channel your anger that way , that abuse is happening now in your own city . Or dont you think grafters and wanna be grafters are driving around with 14 year old girls or taking them to parks or party pads ? It’s happening

Im not claiming Rotherham was a one off or that only Asian gangs are abusing children - im saying that particular case was a clear racially motivated incident yet the same groups who supposedly fight for equality and against racism were nowhere to be found and the reason you have to assume was because the victims were white.
Thats why I cant take alot of these groups and the left seriously on this topic as they are just as politically blinded as the right who carry on like there isnt any white grooming gangs out there when there clearly is.

ive not dismissed Rotherham at any stage by the way . I don’t agree the abuse was racially motivated but I think race , I suspect differently to you , played a part in the whole thing and the offenders are scum .
you’re the one who seems focused on Rotherham you’ve referenced it repeatedly . It was horrific but frankly I struggle to see the relevance , I accept you don’t but it feels like it’s an odd sound bite .
