What is the argument that you are trying to make?

are you trying to deny that racism is a problem? Are you trying to say that white people experience racism in the same way as people of colour do?

I think your example is a poor one. Grooming gangs prey on the vulnerable. That’s what motivates their choice of victim. That they are vulnerable. They look for children who are poor. From broken homes. Easily manipulated.

This is a group of men that preyed on vulnerable children. It’s despicable.

The majority of grooming gangs are white men. Yet you choose this particular case as the perpetrators were Pakistani. Do the other cases not bother you? As you haven’t mentioned those?

No one is denying white people experience prejudice. No one is saying that there aren’t people of colour who do bad things.

but you are still applying these things at an individual level. Your example are all individual. You will be able to find an example of more or less anything you want. But it doesn’t make the issue systemic.

People say labour are out of touch for not pandering to stoked up racism. The argument that people’s lives were dire due to complex socio-economic factors is a lot more difficult to broadcast than the one that it’s due to foreigners. It’s not that labour didn’t listen to the working class, it’s that many people wanted labour to say something else.
Personally, I’m largely proud of them for doing so. You stick to your principles.

I agree mate alot of people have been fooled by far right media peddling rubbish like this.

My issue is though that if you haven't a left party with the conviction to be able to change these myths and provide facts but instead lazily abandon these people and label them uneducated racists then they are just as culpable of the shift to the right in the UK as the right/media.
