It doesn’t bode well tbh.

Seems likely these ‘patriots’ will surround the Cenotaph and Churchill - as they’ve weirdly decided the entire BLM movement is about war memorials it seems - and they’ll no doubt do what those nuggets did in Hertfordshire at the weekend and dole out racist abuse, and it’ll kick off big time.
Can anyone PM me a stream when it starts please ?

It will be mostly Spurs, Wall and West Ham. Woolwich will be represented. Chelsea usually refuse to be involved in anything where Spurs are in attendance.
Not sure about northern representation.

Seen the small Spurs and Wall antifa contingents calling it on (which they are likely to regret).

Could be absolute bedlam unless the OB are on top of it.

I just dont get it.

The BLM stuff have proved a point, got great support/sympathy, and the narrative is they are wronged.

Why on earth they want to destroy that by picking a fight about a war memorial or another statue is literally beyond me.

I can imagine. Aint no black in the union jack kinda spoiling for it.

I'm not sure it is particularly a racial thing (Spurs and Woolwich not really that way inclined) but more a 'patriotism" thing.

I hope it all turns out to be nothing but who knows.

Fingers crossed it is a nothing event.

It'll be all over Twitter anyway.

The Antifa lot that have hijacked the legitimate BLM movent/concerns are not interested in the cause.

That helmet TR is going to be in attendance. Not sure I agree it isn’t a race thing, I’ve not seen one non white face in amongst these ‘football lads’ crews.

Can I ask a question. Have you read any books from black authors on racism or the history of racism in the U.K.?
Just curious.

I believe the UK was very racist mate from the stories I've heard from the 70/80/90's but I dont think its still as prevalent in society.

I still think it goes on of course but im not sure young BAME growing up face the same discrimination that their parents and certainly grandparents did in this country.

I think alot of problems young BAME face today is the same as many working class whites - poverty and social inequality due to the class system thats still massively prevalent in UK society.

Thats not to say a young BAME wont be racially abused by some mindless idiot or be discriminated by from some unscrupulous employer - but I think those instances are more likely to now be in the minority and not the majority compared to decades gone by - which is why I find these large scale protests in the middle of a global pandemic thats disproportionately affecting BAME people a little misguided (i have no problem with people showing solidarity and support to those in the US by safer means).

The USA on the other hand is a totally different kettle of fish and I do believe their society is as racist now as it was 20/30 years ago.

I asked the question the other day of what is it they want that will bring this to an end, and I don’t think they or anyone else knows.....it’s now moving onto ‘activists’ v ‘nutters’ just looking for a barney......hope the Police lock them all up....tossers......
