And thats fair enough mate - but thats not 100% evidence of the UK having a massive race problem which you would believe going off these recent protests based on the murder in another country with a proven system of racial inequality and police brutality problems.

Does racism go on in the UK - absolutely
Is racism abhorrent and need stamping out - absolutely

Does that mean everytime a BAME feels aggrieved and claims that something is racist means it is actually racist - not for me.

If Sol proves to me he has been the victim of racism in getting a job in football management I'll be the first to back him as racists are bullies and I hate bullies - but from the numerous things he's said in the past combined with the lack of evidence im very skeptical of his claims.
Absolutely no one is saying that.

I love the fact that you are acknowledging what millions of people are telling you but are comfortable telling them they are wrong.

Thats a special level of arrogance.

Not arrogance at all - I just like to see facts before jumping over something as serious as racism. Its a term lobbed around alot on social media and its a very serious accusation.

I wouldnt accuse someone of being a rapist/murderer without proper facts so why would I label an institution or person a racist with no facts of a situation?

Im centre left on the economy, probably centrist for everything else apart from crime which im centre right as I cant be doing with criminals getting an easy ride when their victims often suffer a much longer harder sentence.

Don't get me wrong I don't think you are a bad bloke or anything, I wouldn't be responded to you if I did. I just feel you are going very right leaning on this situation.

One of the main messages that has came from the protests is for people to just listen. A large amount of people are telling you the issues they face and you are just seemingly dismissing them (many people, not just you personally).

Sol Campbell is a terrible example by the way because Sol Campbell is a knob.

Is that the one where fans of some London clubs have decided to "join in"?
It'll be interesting to see if the majority peaceful protests from last weekend become violent with intervention from right wing groups looking to protect monuments and statutes.

I hope they have a spokesperson on behalf of the entire group that can assure us it isn't.

Can I ask a question. Have you read any books from black authors on racism or the history of racism in the U.K.?
Just curious.

AKA doing nothing and just watching.

By the way, I don't think organizations keep records detailing all their incidents of institutional racism as that would be madness so those facts are not coming.

Are you stuck on a loop?

People have condemned it as I have said to you about 5 times. But, they don't speak on behalf of the entire BLM movement - much like, and I'm not particularly comfortable with the comparison, those involved with the Arab Spring didn't have a specific leader who drew it all together. Multiple different organisations and campaigns United around the same idea.

One organisation, in that scenario cannot speak on behalf of every organisation.

The majority of protests were called for as a peaceful action and in the main, as the evidence and the reports from the police show, they were.
And I've told you I haven't seen any. All I'm seeing when I search is people condoning the vandalism if not the violence. I don't think it's wrong for me and people like me to expect them to speak out against it. Despite all your assurances I haven't seen any evidence of this

If you're not able to show me I'm wrong don't even bother replying as we're going round in circles

Actually hang on.
What is your definition of what institutional racism is?

Yep.

They are not the shy and retiring types.
It doesn’t bode well tbh.

Seems likely these ‘patriots’ will surround the Cenotaph and Churchill - as they’ve weirdly decided the entire BLM movement is about war memorials it seems - and they’ll no doubt do what those nuggets did in Hertfordshire at the weekend and dole out racist abuse, and it’ll kick off big time.
