Barry simply can't play in this one, his inclusion would be the nail in the coffin of us getting a result.

Whilst our defence has definitely improved there are still far too many lapses in concentration that will be punished at Anfield. We could do with the Ashley Williams we signed from Swansea turning up for games like these. Don't get me wrong, he's been 'okay' but really hasn't lived up to what I expected and these are the type of games I was expecting him to carry the team through. Right now, I'm more convinced he'll probably make a mistake that'll lead to a goal.

The blueprint for success against these is there for all to see. Soak up the pressure and pounce on the counter attack. Got to see out that first 20 minutes or the game plan is in tatters. Barkley specifically needs to play well, if he goes missing we'll carry no threat on the counter and we'll be waiting for the inevitable.

I'm almost at the point now where I'd give my left testicle just to beat these at Anfield, for us to go there and give them the massive hiding they've had coming off us for years.

I want us to score late, for Barkley and Davies to f'n nuts with the fans, for pyro to be everywhere, for the telly cameras to zoom in on their legends sitting in the stands with faces like someone's just pissed on their kids, for their fans to have meltdowns outside the ground afterwards.

Please Everton, please beat these just for once.
pretty much this.

We win this one and it's big for us and not just 3 points.
we get a point at Untd and it's job well done, but 1 point isn't enough with only 6 or 7 games left
we win and the whole Prem sits up and takes notice and the 3 above us are in brown trouser mode...that's if we haven't already passed Arsenal as they slip down. Cue the media jumping on the band wagon - we always knew Koeman was the man and Everton had it in them...they may even be able to hold on to Lukaku and Barkley now.

It's the hope that kills you
but once, just 'kin once, can we not have to say after the dust has died down the usual...Everton that.

There maybe nobody else Dee, unless Koeman comes up with a cunning plan, or goes all in on a kid from the U23's; who? I have no idea...tell him at 10.00am and let him get by on ignorance being bliss/adrenaline.
In similar circumstances Catterick had no other choice than to put in Harvey Vs Inter away (Harvey thought he was there to help with the kit and be a general gopher) 53yrs is a long time between long shots.

We're long overdue a win in this shithole. With the way we're playing, and led by Barcelona's former captain who has won just about everything as a layer, I don't see why not this game.

Liverpool are as good as anyone in this league going forward, the only people who have beaten them are thos teams that sit back and hit them on the break! If we have Mirallas in the team then we have three or four players who can hit them on the break! The midfield HAS to protect our back line though if their forwards get anywhere near our back four in full flight they will tear us a new one!

So plug the midfield, kick the kidneys out of them, then hit them on the break and win! But most of all Everton play like you beleive you should be on the same pitch as them! Please stop playing them like a star struck non-league team! :/

They still haven't lost a match to a team that they actually bother concentrating for. I can't see that changing so i would take a draw.

But i would love it if we beat them, be like manna from heaven.
