Silva bottled it at the end but we were punch for punch as good as them for much of the game, untill we decided a draw was good enough and surrendered to them in the dying minutes.

Come on, mate. 5 minutes to go at Anfield you always shut up shop. Maybe Manchester City don´t but that´s about it.

Despite the fact he was 20 yards away from it

Exactly. I can´t say I´m bothered about it. It´s what he does, he loves being centre of attention.

Has to be some sort of fine/ban though. You can´t just run onto the pitch like that. As I said earlier, do that against another ego maniac like Mourinho and all hell breaks loose.

We missed 2 absolute sitters mate, we go 2 -0 up, it's a different game.

Mane and Shaqiri missed sitters for them as well though. They played mid week and we should of pushed on and looked to win it. Instead we looked to time waste.

We were the better side, we were the fresher side so why bring on Zouma ?

We were great for 90 minutes then didn't have the courage of our convictions.

What did concern me a tad was the fact that we looked goosed in the last ten minutes. A lot of those players in red were involved in Paris in midweek.. surely the boot should've been on the other foot?

It killed when it went in but right now I'm not arsed. We've been to Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and now these lot and should have left with at least 7 points and have shown we can compete in these games. It's hard to believe that just a year ago we were being managed by gravy tits and parking 11 players behind the ball so we don't get embarrassed, and even then we were hammered most games. We've shown we can go to a big side and put in a performance that just needs a quality striker to put away more of the chances we create. It will be interesting to see how we get on at home to these sides. Next season we can challenge for the top 4 for sure.

Winning games at these places is hard and we probably aren´t ready to do more than sneaking it by the odd goal if we do. What I really want to see is some brilliant games at Goodison against the top 6.

We´ve got all of them still to come at home and I think we can get a result in every one. Except Liverpool of course because pact with the devil and all that.

Genuinely never felt so heartbroken in a derby game in so long, this goal hurt so much because it was pure luck and a horrible mistake from one of our better players, plus it had to be Memeock Origi who scored. We are just one big meme, I think I’m done with football forever

Biggest Everton that, we’ve seen all year, however we lost the game and still sit in 6th, our transitional season is going considerably better than I thought it would.

They got lucky yeah. But we’ve gone from being completely outclassed by them hoping to get lucky ourselves to them spending the second half punting long balls because they had nothing else. We’ll come back again next season under Silva and be even better and at some point they’ll crack. We can’t let one crazy moment of luck change what actually happened in the match. They’re a good side and we absolutely matched them on their own turf. Don’t buy into the post match RS propaganda.

I agree as I said we have come a long long way in a year, some great performances today and we did well. We deserved a point at least until an inexplicable error. They are three years in, having spent millions we are just starting on a process and are on the right path. And have strengthened everywhere. I am just saying that's the difference now between us and getting results in games against those top teams a clinical finisher, in those moments you have to take them we had at least two or three chances to score today, score one then we aren't talking hard luck stories.
