I agree as I said we have come a long long way in a year, some great performances today and we did well. We deserved a point at least. They are three years in, having spent millions we are just in a process and are on the right path. And have strengthened everywhere. I am just saying that's the difference now between us and those top teams a clinical finisher.

Honestly, it´s a bit more than that. We´re a good side but we don´t have the world class players who can turn a game in an instant. We also don´t have the self belief or the luck that inevitably goes with being a top team.

Sorry you are right. I should clarify that's the difference between us getting wins at these big grounds. I agree generally we are quite a way off maybe three or four players from actually being competitive for the top four consistently.

In what way did he bottle it????

We didn't surrender to them ffs.

Why did we bring on a centre back for Siggi in injury time ?

They won it because their keeper made a 40 yard run to improve the angle from a free kick, that free kick resulted in their centre back who they had pushed having a free volley. Then Pickford makes a poor decision and tries to catch the ball rather than face a late corner.

We were great for 90 minutes today but there is a reason we have come away with far less than we deserve from our away games against the big boys and that is our mentality.

We have to get away from being happy with good performances against the big boys and start targeting wins.

With ya on that. We´re more than capable of nicking it by the odd goal against the top teams now. We have to turn a couple of them over at Goodison, been far too long since we had a really memorable game at the Old Lady.

Winning games at these places is hard and we probably aren´t ready to do more than sneaking it by the odd goal if we do. What I really want to see is some brilliant games at Goodison against the top 6.

We´ve got all of them still to come at home and I think we can get a result in every one. Except Liverpool of course because pact with the devil and all that.
I reckon we can do them at Goodison. Stuff the spawn of the devil. But for the last minute fluke, we footballed them off their turf today. They know it too.

Lads who have kids in the city how hard is it especially if you have a young lad? Like we must be losing a bit of following especially after last ten years.
