We played well, we were the better side, but as always they caught us with a fluke. Pickford was at fault, he should have left it, but we played well and there is little between the two sides apart from luck.....

There wasn't much between the 2 sides today mate, but until we're challenging for the title (even though City will piss it) and playing champs league footy, there is quite a bit between the 2 of us.

Not so sure, I think they’ll be well annoyed and will see the Goodison match as a chance for revenge. I think they’ll use this as motivation - Pickford in particular seems to have that mentality.

Apart from Pickford's hand flapping/pattiecake with one eye on the big galoot coming in on him not withstanding...

Lack of decent squad depth did for us. So until Bernard and Walcott are fighting for one place one the bench, this will be par for the course
In the last 15 mins all we had to do was run at them.

Also we did seem to fanny about and do a bit of time wasting/settling for a draw from 87 mins and in the time added on.

Agreed mate. I've said it to a few that goal should have been a consolation for them where we are laughing our heads off. You simply can't miss the sitters we missed today and expect to be winning (or at worst drawing)

We gifted then that win long before Pickford ballsed up because we weren't clinical. They were absolutely piss poor except in defence. 2 of their ffront 3 were subbed as they offered nothing and their other creative outlet the Hobbit offered nothing.

In fact chekc the Echo ratings and they've given Fabhino an 8 who I thought was absolutely anonymous except for 2 late tackles on Rico.

What a bloody chance missed that was today to make a wholly show of how limited they actually are. Quite ironic that they scored from a shot that resembles a drop kick in Rugby

Sickened by the last minute goal,Gomes was head and shoulders above anything they had on the pitch,unfortunately it was a case of not being clinical when the chances came,Mina acoring from the header would have put a different complexion on the game,we are getting there
