You are absolutely out of your 'kin mind mate.
Not really it wasn't like, just an eff up like Distin or others, it was him being cocky in the 96th minute at Anfield. Yes he's a good goal keeper, but that's twice he's cost us at Anfield and he's only been here 2 seasons. If it was Howard or Joel everybody else would be slaughtering him. I don't care if players make mistakes, while just doing was their supposed to be doing, however his mistake was caused by his arrogance. However I suppose we've been effin up against the RS for longer than Pickford has been born, so it's probably not a surprise that happened. I just worry that we'll never move forward, because our players make these mistakes in big games continually. Anyway maybe we'll go to City and batter them and this argument will all be forgotten. If we never had to play these horrible devils again i'd be happy.

We were brilliant.

We NEED to be more clinical.

Or the mistakes that inevitably happen (because we're us) will come back to bite us.

Still sixth. Now it's all about responding against the horse haters this week.

For pure final whistle fume, for me that game ranked third behind the Clive Thomas semi final and the Clattenburg derby. Don’t know why, because it’s happened so many times, I’m probably just so so sick of it that I’ve reached my limit.

I absolutely f’ing hate them.

Can't disagree...I'm very close to wanting to see him more central alongside Gylfi; could be very dangerous there as long as he doesn't get overrun, physically.

..for such a technically talented footballer, though, he lacks composure in threatening positions. Loved watching him today, but he’s just not very effective from a threat perspective.

That goal was everything they profess not to be or do....high punt to the box, mishit hopeful volley with excessive screwback on it. Maybe Pickford should have palmed it over for a corner but the way the ball span back off the bar......pure lucky bounce of the ball.....again.

That aside, I feel our approach was refreshing (for this fixture at the pit). Still no result but we tried to have a go.

On the whole, saying it quietly, we're going in the right direction I feel.

First time we've competed and gone toe to toe with them at Anfield for a long time. God only knows what Pickford was doing, but if we carry on playing like this we'll do well. The next step is to become clinical enough to turn these kind of performances into wins. I thought we played similarly well against Arsenal but we weren't clinical and came away empty handed. It's the next step for us.

1 goal scored away to Chelsea, rs, Arsenal and the mancs and that goal was a pen. Numerous chances created and all we've got to show for it is 1 goal and 1 point.

Like you said Toff, we NEED to be more clinical
