What hurts the most is that years back, when we had fight and we’re up for derbies I would have all my red mates having a go and I’d have a go back, I’d defend Everton no matter what, whether we deserved to win lose or draw. I would always say we should have won because back then the results were often close.

Now though, I just don’t care, whether we’re getting hammered 5-2 by them, I just said I expected it to be more and the red mates of mine wouldn’t even bother laughing, or the daft injury time winners, they don’t rub it in any more, most of them pity us because they know the club is knackered. I genuinely think we’re on a downward spiral here and it doesn’t seem to be stopping. Hopefully Ancelotti and Brands can sort this mess out before it’s too late.

Maybe. I watched it until they scored even though I pretty much knew what was going to happen. I suppose it's just another traditional FA Cup shock, but the
funny thing is that Everton's U18s and U23's seem to manage OK against them. We should've sent them out instead of the rabble we picked.
Switched off with 15 minutes left. Went outside played with the dog, watered my garden and felt much better.

Just when you think the club couldn't get any worse.

Liverpool's game plan was literally to field a team of youngsters and run at the opposition and know they'll cough it up at some point. That's the game plan for just about any sunday league team. It was horrible to watch a professional team not being able to get it out of their own half against opponents who've BARELY played at the top level. Someone like Sigurdsson probably has played more games than the entire Liverpool team yesterday (I didn't actually count this but I bet it's probably right). Think about the number of tactical situations he's probably seen and all of it counted for nothing, he couldn't beat the press, and he couldn't be bothered either. If he was upset he didn't show it, he didn't order people around like he should be doing. For all of Phil Neville's faults, he wasn't afraid to order people around. Sig was definitely pulled because he wasn't up for it. After this and the Man City showing, once Ancelotti gets his man this transfer window, he'll be quietly shipped out to Ligue 1 or Eredivisie.

I don't blame Ancelotti entirely for this. He did miscalculate some things, like how much fresh legs would matter (a lot), and not having a plan B when things went south in the 2nd half (play long ball and score one from a corner). I also think he has to shelve the Sidibe/Coleman combination as it hasn't worked against Man City or Liverpool. But Ancelotti came up against a team who's had 3 or 4 years preparation against his side who's barely had 2 weeks with the new manager, and he's completely missing central midfielders and a top central defender or at least one to swap out for squad rotation. Up front DCL is still developing whereas the top teams have a Salah or Aguero.

The worse thing really is the team gave up in the second half today, they threw in the towel and that's unacceptable, even more so at Anfield.

Ancellotti has just taken charge of the most humiliating loss this club has had since the Glen Keely game from 1982.

To get beat by their bleedin reserves, on national tv, and have that Shankly quote about there being only two teams on Merseyside, RS and RS reserves, being rammed down us, there is no more humiliating defeat in my lifetime.

Today of all days I though it was safe to watch a game that involved them, that was gut wrenching. The second half was completely inept. Pickford is the only player who comes out with any credit there. Holgate, yard dog. Absolutely shocking on the ball.

Ancelotti has only been here less than a month. These players were bought in by the poor managers, we have had since Moyes left. They are bottlers and wasters, and losing to the rs reserves, was the biggest bottle job yet.I think Ancelotti if given time and resources, will turn us around. You don't win 3 champions leagues as a manager, if you don't have something going for you.

Inappropriate Language
We just need to gut the team entirely.

thankfully we should get some clout in, due to Ancelotti’s expertise, but god, we’ve got a cowardly bunch.

I will slag Moyes off relentlessly, and rightly so, but aside from bottling at the big teams, the players fought til the end everywhere else.

the players just don’t seem interested, from Martinez to Ancelotti, something ain’t right.

we need some real dogged man who dictates play in the Middle. Delph looked like he could do that, but he’s so injury prone. Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson basically epitomise all that’s wrong with Us at present, and we won’t improve til they are shipped out.

Apparently this is the perfect time to be an Everton player and fan. How the hell did that happen yesterday then?

Sick of the sound bites from our ridiculously overpaid bunch of cowards.

Cull the lot of them and start again.

Hahaha I think Everton have actually deleted the tweet that they themselves put out a couple of days ago.

No mark cowards.

I was getting literal rushes of dejavu watching that. It’s a weird vibe at anfield. They are in a relaxed mood like going the pictures to see a comedy. Like the amount of smiling and laughing ye see in the crowd and we are like a bunch angry of pds victims. The fans do actually be laughing and klopp also. It’s been that way for a while. Usually when someone is like that they deserve egg on their face but it just plays out the same way. It’s hell.
