fair enough, yeah I got a bit carried away, just fed up of seeing us concede so many chances every game. 20+ chances against in a few games this season is just not good enough. Point taken about the attack though, frustration overload.

You felt he was focused on getting back into position with his attention set on making sure we didn't over celebrate when there was still several minutes to see out and leave ourselves vulnerable.

And they call us bitter? If lovren (can't include sakho he's just garbage) had scored that they (and most of us on here) would acknowledge what a great goal it was. Instead it was a fluke. Even better then that Howard was 'lucky'. Can anyone tell me how Howard's performance was lucky? They are deluded.
Enough of them back to us. To get a point without Barkley, Coleman and miralles (for most of the game) was commendable. Besic will be so much better for the experience and can see him partnering macca in the return derby. John stones must never be played at right back again, he was our mom yesterday and the defence looks so much more assured with him in it.
Rom was ineffective out wide, but we destroyed arsenal last season him playing there. The difference- the team and him were playing full of confidence then. But I agree bobby should have swapped him more centrally, but possibly miralles' injury was responsible for this.
Hopefully the result (if not the performance) will lift the confidence of the players.

Exactly! It was a shot at goal, and it went in. How is that a fluke? Fluke is when you cross it and it goes in, or you've fallen on your arse and the keeper kicks it against the back of your head and it goes in.
Shots on goal can't be flukes! Payback for the 3-3 last season; but I'm sure they say they battered us in that game too...
