I can't understand how any Evertonian can entertain the notion of selling Baines. For a measly £16m as well.

The Daily Mail is one of the worst newspapers I have ever seen, on a par with the Sun. Some of their tactics are abhorent.

The latest garbage with Baines is the most transparent and shameless attempt I have ever seen at writing a story with a clear agenda - to unsettle a player, to justify the YEARS of Baines to United stories they have written, and just a general 'titty lip' tone of the whole thing, how dare Martinez go against the script.

The whole thing is utterly pathetic. I also have no doubt United are briefing them, because that's what United do.
