I'll enroll him on @bullybeef 's assertiveness course.

I think it's basically testosterone injections until you "grow a pair" and start kicking everything in your path. Whilst shouting.

He'd rather eat his own granny than not score after that. Pure motivation.

He can be seen in the crowd shouting 'Get up you pu$$y" as Gomes is stretchered off. I think I even noticed him rip the oxygen mask from Gomes at one point, he's one angry impotent lard covered arsewipe that fella.

Remember a few seasons ago, McCarthy injured Payet for West Ham.

Remember their fans moaning about it, well the majority on here laughed about it.

A few years later and you are now the West Ham fans.

It's a physical sport, injuries do happen.

You've completely ignored the narrative on what he's posted and compared it to any normal tackle.

Heard he does motivational talks to the terminally ill where he just shouts "Man up" at them for 30 minutes before throwing chairs at them and storming out in disgust.

Everton in the Community have hired him as a consultant to teach the players how to approach their visits to Alder Hey.

Basically they just poke their head round the door say "Disgusting" through gritted teeth and then harrumphs off down the corridor. If they want a signed shirt they have to earn it. By working. Bloody layabouts.

Seamus Coleman is the type of person who every football should aim to be like.

Ignore the bizarre narrative that seems to have occurred where Son is now the brave victim, that's the media, Coleman did the right thing because he is a top bloke and a great human being.
Thats what is fuelling a lot of the anger, the feeling that Son has been the victim and Gomes is some how responsible for it

Things were better in the 80's so I was hoping for more of a Universal Soldier meets Robocop approach.

Of course it wouldn't do to go too far. For instance, players wouldn't be armed until the latter stages of the Cup or away fixtures against the 'Big 6'

Ive not really said anything about it until today.

My first reaction when Coleman was off consoling Son was utter bewilderment. Pick a top player in the league who has been considered a winning captain throughout a period of success...Terry, Keane, Gerrard, Vieira etc.

Could anyone imagine one of those players going into the opposition changing room and consoling a player who had reacted to something then chased a teammate and hacked him down from behind causing serious injury? Weve seen on camera how Keane stood up for teammates...our own Duncan Ferguson, Tim Cahill or others would never have done this imo

My next reaction was that if I was in Gomes situation and i had been injured in such a way, would i want my captain to be off consoling the opposition player...or to be going ballistic and getting in the fourth officials face + going in front of the cameras after the game and calling out the opposition team and being vocal in his support of me and the total injustice. Even using my injury to call out the VAR penalty and biased decisions against the club.

For me, and this is a personal view which i appreciate others may disagree with, I think this attitude of Colemans is nothing short of a disgrace and a total dereliction of duty to a teammate and to be honest a quite pitiful example of captaincy.

I understand hes also had a bad injury, i consider that to be totally irrelevant in this situation. Hes downplayed the whole incident by his behaviour and the narrative has become all about Son.

There is no leadership in this team and without a leader with a winning mentality the team is like a house of cards.

Brands doesnt only need to sign a new spine of a team for Silva, he needs to sign a backbone!
Should he have grabbed him by the throat ala Dunc, not that I condone violence at all...but yeah thats what you do with snidey little ankle tappers...which, forget the tears, the red or yellow, is exactly what he is and did.
But we all know that would've been worse.
Satisfying.
Natural justice - but worse.

'Kinhell mate, can we just slash their tyres first

Just come out and confess your unholy love for Son why don't you.

Only fire can bring about the cleansing.

My modest proposal for a Wicker Man on Finch Farm stuffed with all the weaklings will sort this club's issues out including any issues around the wage bill and FFP. Not to mention the harvest upside for any farmers who participate.

I can see why he did it but I think it was the wrong call.
I hate the jovial attitude in the tunnel before the game too, i miss the Keane's viera type hatred. Nowadays it's all about seeing what mates you have on the opposition team and saying hi.
It's all become too nice and friendly to me.

Yeah I get this but it's across the board not just EFC. The culture has changed somewhat as a result of changes both in football and in wider society. The game is faster but less physical. The players are less combative, but the game is probably as competitive as it ever was.

Think of all the 'old school' approach coaches who are now getting pulled up for bullying (not racism). They probably did nothing other than give youngsters the same approach they got, but these days it's no longer acceptable. Things have changed.
