I suppose Fassbender was one of the few good things about Prometheus so it made sense to him. The Alien story has limitations, they should have stopped after Aliens. Scott decided it was limitless and needed robots, heavy handed religious symbolism and every ounce of mystery sucked out of it. Beats me, too

the very first one was huge on symbolism, maybe not of the religious kind, but yeah the two latest were convoluted as hell

Just can’t enjoy old sci fi generally. Tried Event Horizon, couldn’t get through it. Have just binge watched The Expanse though which might be why.

3. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 1/10 ( I’m too old and Chris Pratt just plays hims of in every film )

We both thoroughly enjoyed it
Interesting story and Mr Fassbender is great as the good/evil main character

thought the first half was amazing, the second half felt like a google earth advert with a bellend in the lead, though having known a few lads from tazmania his age, apparently he's a tit in real life too

agree though that the little boy who played him during being lost in Calcutta acted them all off the screen.

Imo, Event Horizon, is one of the most underated scfi horrors around.

Atmospheric, great plot line, good cast and genuinely scary as Sam Neil decends into hell.

If ever a film was crying out for a sequel, it's this.

Never get tired of watching it.

Agreed, one of my absolute fave films, of any genre. Dunno about a sequel tho, worried they'd balls it up

Watched GotG V2 last night. Really liked it, more than the first one i think. One thing that struck me is how colourful it is, really makes use of the HD.

My only issue is
