I'm liking all the glowing reviews for the new Blade Runner
Its fantastic COYBL......couldn't take my eyes of it - all 2 3/4 hours of it!
Just got back from seeing Blade Runner 2049. Blade Runner is my favourite film. Some of you know how down I've been on this whole thing, I didn't even want it to be made... it's absolutely stunning.
Can it be compared to the perfection that's the first film or is it standout in it's own right ?
Honestly mate, for me all the signs were that it was going to go horribly wrong even up to the latest trailer, I'm reeling from how much they've got it right. It's a bold, compelling, enigmatic and emotional film, and an overwhelming visual and aural experience in its own right, but ultimately it's a worthy successor, and I never, ever thought I'd be saying that. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.This is the recommendation I've been waiting for, a fanatics recommendation

Gah I was hoping people would hate it but now i feel I have to see it.
If it had deserved it in any way I'd have torn it to 'kin shreds mate. I was crestfallen when I saw the trailer the other week, it so isn't that film.
