Watched this last night on Film 4.

Despite very good performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as the leads, it all felt a bit flat and predictable in the end.

Two patrol cops in South Central LA, come to the attention of a Mexican Drug cartel, by inadvertently arresting lots of their members / finding lots of their drugs.

Doesn't really get going until the last fifteen minutes.

Resident Evil final chapter.

It's like they tried to come up with the most ridiculous movie ever, it somehow never even followed on from the previous movie.

Even though it has final chapter in the title, they will try to peddle more movies no doubt.

Going to watch Blade Runner 2049 again tomorrow evening. That will be the third time Ive seen it already.

Right up there with The Empire Strikes Back, Aliens, and Godfather Part III in terms of more than worthy sequels.

The second time I watched it, I enjoyed it more than the first time. Superb.

I meant Godfather Part II lol

After 30-odd years of watching Blade Runner in various formats I've just watched the Final cut 4k version for the first time, in preparation for going to see the sequel tomorrow.
Anyone else got a Blade Runner annual ?

It really didn't get better than Sean Young, during the piano scene in Blade Runner.

She's always be my all time number one

I'm still hesitant to watch the Blade Runner sequel but, after the reviews on here, it seems it's going to be soon.

In the meantime, I watched this again and it really is a good film!
Pretty much anything with Brit Marling in it is good anyway.
