That's not ten bad films though and having watched Pometheus many times, I eventually came to the conclusion that it's actually a very good film, despite hating in on first viewing.
I do agree with the next one being a load of cak though

Just watched this now, excellent film. He's remaking Alien Nation next, could be interesting.
Watched mother! Liked it in parts, but the whole thing mostly flew over my head. I read the explanation of it afterwards and it is actually very simple. Would recommend finding out what it's about before going to see it

Haven't seen but thought I understood the story pretty clearly from the trailer, looked somewhat Rosemary's Baby like. Then a friend went to see it and said it's nothing like it and is one of the most disturbing films he's seen.
Seems to be dividing opinion like no other.
It's very different, nothing like Rosemary's Baby. It intrigued me, and I cared enough to read up about it after. I'm going to put a spoiler beneath this and, while they generally ruin films, I think this will provide a good framework to go off for anyone planning to see it
It's a story of the bible up to the evolution of modern man
I ended up retrospectively enjoying the film more after discovering this. I was too stupid to figure it out when I was there

When I heard they were making a remake I just wasn't arsed because I knew Scott would make a balls of it, I did not realise he thought the same so decided to get a director in, Villeneuve has done a couple of decent movies in the last few years, Sicario and Prisoners.
Getting very good reviews, and that's because Scott hasn't directed it.

Watched a film called LION last week. True story of an Indian boy separated from his family and adopted in Australia. Not a laugh a minute, but nevertheless brilliant. Based on a true story and great ending.
