Still haven't seen it. Hard to believe he took the route of making it all about a robot with vanity issues.
I suppose Fassbender was one of the few good things about Prometheus so it made sense to him. The Alien story has limitations, they should have stopped after Aliens. Scott decided it was limitless and needed robots, heavy handed religious symbolism and every ounce of mystery sucked out of it. Beats me, too
