Last Film You Watched

Looks like they've foregone all of the bold, original film-making that set the original apart and just gone for a by-the-numbers blockbuster. Christ, I can already smell the almighty dump Leto took after he chewed all the scenery

I'm reserving judgement until I've seen it.

I wasn't expecting it to be a classic like the original, but the very least I'm expecting is a very good film.

The trailer has really not got my hopes up at all, but there have been some very good reviews out there, although I've not read them myself. Pete Bradshaw gave it 5 stars. I 'hope' that the trailer has been cut to sell it to an action audience but the film has a lot more to it. If the reviews had been tepid I'd have swerved it altogether.

I've heard a blue whale has a 12 foot knob, wow eh?! Imagine that eh!? I wish I had a 12 foot knob, instead of carryin' this massive thing around! Eh!? EH!!?

I find myself adjusting to the 3D effect after a short time, so it's like looking at a wonky regular film, so I just think what's the point? And I find watching through the glasses makes the screen seem smaller and it has a distancing effect, when the point is supposed to be that it makes it more immersive. And light bleeds through the top of the glasses. And it makes the film darker. And they charge more.... it's just bollocks basically.

Not holding out any hope on Scott's Bladerunner sequel, I've seen that move over a dozen times.

He's massively overrated is Scott, for every good film he's made 10 bad, made a right mess of his 2 recent Alien films.
