Yeah I get why it's happening, just still dismayed by the whole thing really. I had a little bit of hope for Denis Villeneuve after seeing Arrival, but I'm resigned to the fact that anything with a budget is going to be mauled to death by the studio and spit out. He's taking on Dune as well, god knows what sort of hatchet job they'll have to do on that story to render it digestable for mainstream audiences

I didn't know about Dune.

That makes me very sad

Drive is a masterpiece.

Ryan Goslings finest to date.

Dead Mans Shoes has to be one of the best low budget British films made, with a truly shocking ending.
