The Bounty - Cast included Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson and Mel Gibson.

Based in true even were Royal Naval vessel HMS Bounty travelled on an expedition to Tahiti to gather some Breadplant to take to Jamaica to grow and use as a cheap source of food for slaves there but on the way to Jamaica the crew mutinied because of the captains treatment of them.

I've done a bit of reading on this since and found it very interesting that most of the current residents on Pitcairn Island are descendants of the Bounty Mutineers and the few Tahitians they took with them.

Well worth a watch.

G.O.T.G V2

An enjoyable romp. The opening shot in 3D is soooo good. (from my work perspective)

Doesn't quite live up to the first, but would deffo watch again. This is how you do a popcorn movie.

I saw the advanced screening...it's brilliant yet again.

I'd say its as good as the first, the first I think was just extra special as no one expected it to be so brilliant

Watched rogue one at the weekend. To be honest it was everything good that episode 7 wasn't. Great set of characters, cameos done right, funny sidekick robot, great story with a means to an end and just really enjoyable. I wasn't a fan of episode 7 as much, it seemed to copy far too much from previous films and Rogue one represented how good they could have made it.

Flight back from Germany watched The prestige. Great film based in London about Magicians. David Bowie was Tesla. Christian Bale was great again. Was my second time seeing it better than i recalled. Also on the flight, American Beauty and Good will Hunting.

Just watched all the Hobbit films on Bluray, I watched them at the Cinema when they came out, but not seen them for ages, and got the Bluray box set for Chrimbo. I remembered a rubbish bit at the end though...

There is a part at the end where Legolas' Dad tells him to go and find Arathorn, that his son (Aragorn) could be a good King one day... My problem with this is that,The Hobbit is at least 60 years before the start of LOTR and Aragorn is supposed to be a regular man and not ancient in LOTR

Tried watching Paterson the other night. The sync was all out so we stopped after about 15 mins, but my god, what a dreadfully boring film. Sync or no sync, won't be returning to that bore-a-thon.
