How To Be Single (2016) - Rom/Com ?
'After four years of college, young Alice (Dakota Johnson) decides she needs a break from her long-term boyfriend Josh. Excited and ready for new challenges, the eager grad moves to New York to take a job as a paralegal. Helping her navigate her way through an unfamiliar city is Robin (Rebel Wilson), a fun-loving, wild co-worker who enjoys partying and one-night stands. With Robin as her freewheeling guide, Alice can now learn how to get free drinks, meet men and enjoy the single lifestyle.'
If you have to.
House of Manson (2014) - Drama/Thriller
'The life of Charles Manson (Ryan Kiser) from his childhood through the Tate and LaBianca murders.'
It was graphic in the way it showed the murders but, there wasn't as much detail about how the 'Manson family' actually united.
Needed a bit more depth, although the actors performed their roles well.
Our Idiot Brother (2011) - Drama/Indie/Comedy
'Easygoing, dimwitted slacker Ned Rochlin (Paul Rudd) makes the biggest mistake of his so-far uninspired life when he sells some pot to a cop. Homeless and jobless upon his release from jail, Ned must prevail upon his three sisters (Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer) for help. Though Ned himself is utterly without a shred of ambition or guile, it's a different story with his sisters, who find their carefully ordered lives thrown into chaos whenever he's around.'
Love this film, it's (Ned) how we should be.
K-Shop (2016) - Thriller
'A kebab shop owner's son becomes a creative vigilante as he takes grisly revenge on the violent youths who killed his father.'
It had some relevant things to say about society in Britain but, it was mainly a gore show.
