The Slenderman thing was initially a huge series of YouTube internet shorts with a Blair Witchesque vibe. They were very creepy as far as I can remember

Yep it seems that way. Never heard of it before this documentary, it was about the trial of these 2 12 year olds and a lot of background on the Slenderman and how it came to be popular.

Documentary was a bit a poor, dragged in far too long, should have either been about the trial or the Slenderman, tried to put to much into it

Yeah, I get what he foresaw, it's just that for every trade there's a buyer and a seller, and I couldn't fathom the motives for some of the trades. Like towards the end, the suggestion was that Bale was selling his positions - who to? Who would buy it from him?!

I should read the book. Flash Boys is a great book and explains it's theme well, so perhaps this will be the same.

Probably someone that had a short position that they had to close to limit their losses.

Just watched Arrival and I am not sure about it at all. It had the potential but nothing really seems to happen and nothing is really made clear by the end of the film. All just seemed a bit pointless, which is a shame as it could have been so much better.

Time Out Of Mind (2014) - Richard Gere, Ben Vereen and Jena Malone star in an Oren Moverman film.

George seeks refuge at Bellevue Hospital, a Manhattan intake center for homeless men, where his friendship with a fellow client helps him try to repair his relationship with his estranged daughter.

I have never particularly liked Richard Gere, or at least some of the roles he has portrayed. Whereas, Ben Vereen was always 'cool'.
Both were impressive in this film.
The movie itself is a bit of a slog as it's quite a depressing subject area. Don't get too impatient with it though and you might get rewarded.
