Last Film You Watched

The Last Voyage of the Demeter ( Netflix - but not one of theirs )

A fresh take on Dracula, that was sadly let down, by a rubbish CGI " scary " monster Dracula.

As per Bram Stokers novel, the Demeter was the ship that was used to transport Dracula and his coffin from Bulgaria to Whitby.

The film focuses on the journey and the crew, as they`re picked off one by one and attempt to fight back.

All the ingredients are there for a good film, good cast, good sets, good cinematography, moody and really suspenseful.

But and it`s very big BUT, the CGI Dracula is laughable, he looks like a mad version of Gollum and when he first appears you almost laugh out loud, he`s that bad.

Close but no cigar.

I was disappointed with this when I first watched it, it felt like it was waiting for the BIG moment that never arrived

I got around to watching ‘Primate’:

A decent suspenseful thriller… A domesticated chimp catches rabies, and then goes on a killing spree! 😂

I enjoyed it.

Psycho killer, a Satanist killer is hunted by the wife of a patrolman he killed, it was billed as one of the top horror/thriller films to be released, the most shocking moment is seeing Malcom McDowell is still alive and making movies, basically a bang average watch that they have left open for a sequel

TED (2012)

Durge compared to the first time I| watched it.
Watch the series. That was good.

I watched the first 10 minutes of this, and thought, ‘Nah. This looks like rubbish.’ Then turned it off.

Are you lads saying that it’s worth a watch?

It would be, but for the rubber Dracula 😂
Well, one movie you can all give a miss is the new Silent Hill:

I was a fan of the game, and I thought the first one wasn’t too bad for a horror based on a video game series.

But this one was just a load of tosh. An incoherent story line made it impossible to follow the plot. I zoned out after about 40 minutes.
