I was suprised they completely ignored 'Give Ireland back to the Irish'. They ran a narrative that he was uncool (arguably true) and focused on John Lennons activism. But that was a pretty ballsy song to release at that time in the 70s.

Yeah I’m not particularly knowledgable about him and Lennon but he always struck me as the more genuine of the two. He kept his roots here and invested in LIPA etc, and there was always a question mark around Lennon’s working class hero status, when he was essentially raised middle class. He felt a little to me like a champagne socialist, something false in his movements - a need for adoration. McCartney seemed more genuine.

I did think it was about recruiting her,but a very convoluted way to examine her ability.

Watched this on Friday. Thought it was OK. There wasn't any new revelations or anything.

Don't see that ever really happening; his/their lives have been under a micron-level microscope for decades...what's out is out so I imagine what's unknown (if anything) will follow him to the grave and that's his right. He's given up enough; just so people have a reason to yap their gums and papers can swim in the side economy.
