Dolf Lungren is a proper odd one.

He has a degree in chemical engineering, so is obviously a very bright fella, yet chose to pursue a career as a -Z list meat head actor instead.

Reading about him, he got into show biz by being Grace Jones boyfriend, after she took a shine to him, whilst moonlighting as part of her security team.

I thought they met on 'a view to a kill'. He was a young blonde strapping model. Ms Jones a chequered history of notoriety. Neither particularly strong actors. I reckon Hollywood is more fun that a lab full of test tubes.

They took options on 'Twins' instead of pay so they got a % of the net. They made millions off it, because it was such a surprise hit. Arnolds squeeze in that is Kelly Preston, who later married Travolta.

Jesse Ventura as Blain in Predator wasn`t too shabby. - ( granted he didn`t have to do anything too taxing, but he made that part his own and ad libbed one of the all time great lines in it too )

Burt Reynolds was pretty buff in Deliverance - won an Oscar.

Tom Hardy as Baine - Dark Knight ( I know he bulked up for the part )

Multiple Christian Bale films - inc the Dark Knight and American Psycho - I know he bulks up or slims down dependant on the part.

I don`t think being bulky is the problem, it`s not being able to act in the first place

A couple of them did the options thing, on the first Star Wars film too - Hamill and Guinness.

Imagine being one of the ones who took a fixed fee for that, you`d never get over it

I think they did the same for the Batman franchise back then, as well?
