Last Film You Watched

Just watched Callan, early 70s spy secret agent type film. Was a spin off from a late 60s TV series with Edward Woodward with a great cast inc Russell Hunter, Eric Porter, Clifford Rose and David Prowse as a strong arm man.

I really like it, apart from The Wicker Man I think it's the best thing Woodward did, of you like British TV from this time and spy stuff it's worth seeing

Hotel Artemis ( on Netflix )

This is one of those films, that could’ve, should’ve been so much better.

A stellar cast, with a lot of money spent on it, yet somehow manages to just feel flat all the way through.

Set slightly in the future, during riots over water in LA, an eclectic bunch of crooks hole up in the paid sanctuary of Hotel Artemis. Run by an eccentric nurse - Jodie Foster.

Sofia Boutella has never looked better though.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri... long overdue!!

It wasn't anything like how I expected it, although should've clocked that with Frances McDormand starring. That said, I thought it was excellent. It got better the longer it went on and had a really big heart at the centre of all the black comedy and violence. McDormand really is in a world of her own - outstanding in every sense of the word.

One of those films that I’ve seen but can barely remember a thing from. Thought it was going to be decent also

Thought it was bang average, certainly not one you would watch again,Jodie Foster looked ancient in it

My friend sent me this clip awhile back. I thought it was some random imputation of the yelling in the background, but upon googling, it turns out that "gayboy berserkers" and "smegma crazies" are actual gang names of villains in the film. I never knew this, despite watching this film probably 50x with my buddies every day after school when we were like 15 or so.
