Yeah, we travelled from Bilbao to Pamplona to San Sebastian. Absolutely amazing scenery. Beautiful area and place to live I reckon. There was a big Basque festival going on in Bilbao while we were there, but we missed most of it unfortunately :o :(

The films are based on a trilogy of books, so I’m going to give them a whirl too.

Andulcia is another place that looks stunning if you’re into outdoor stuff and history too.

Yeah, I've been a couple of times, just to a little town called Ronda, which is also stunning, and apparently quite well known, although I didn't realise that at the time.

Just finished these three films - the Baztan Trilogy :

The Invisible Guardian
Legacy of the Bones
An Offering to the Storm.

All set in the stunning Baztan region of Basque Country in Spain.

The investigation and fight against witchcraft and ritual murder, practiced within the confines of an ancient rural community.

Each film sets the tone for the next and the third one in particular is outstanding, dark, brooding atmospheric and relentless.

Stunning location and the same excellent cast all the way through, which helps with the continuity.

Recommend if you like dark crime stuff.

Netflix Spanish with subs.

@Joey66 I reckon you’d like these.

I much preferred San Sebastian to Bilbao.

Besides the museum, not much there of interest.

Just watched ‘Just Mercy’ on Sky. Based on a true story it was very moving and
told the story of a black man wrongly convicted (as ever). Also been watching a lot Auschwitz stuff recently. I despair of some people.

Good film that, Jamie Foxx is great actor.
Moving is right, it's a powerful story.
